Salinas Police Department’s SWAT team serves a search warrant Tuesday in King City.

KING CITY — Four people were arrested Tuesday after local authorities recovered a stolen firearm and seized an estimated $25,000 worth of heroin in King City.

Salinas Police Department’s violence suppression unit, SWAT team and detectives worked with California Parole, Homeland Security Investigations and California Highway Patrol to simultaneously serve a search warrant April 3 at two King City residences, one in the 300 block of Bassett Street and the other in the 1000 block of Bluff Ave.

Officers seized 2 pounds of heroin, a stolen Mossberg .22 caliber rifle and a small amount of methamphetamine.

Antonio Duran, 34, Juan Pablo Armenta Rodriguez, 29, Yesenia Mosqueda, 29, and Maria Martinez, 19, were all arrested and taken to Monterey County Jail on various charges. A fifth person was cited and released for possession of methamphetamine, police said.
