SOUTH COUNTY — South County girls between the ages of 5 and 17 took part in surf camp this past week with the Wahine Project at Casa Verde Beach in Monterey. The project, founded in 2010, provided scholarships for the youth to learn surfing, boogie boarding and ocean safety.
