SOUTH COUNTY — A sold-out South County Ag Tour, presented by Monterey County Agricultural and Rural Life Museum, allowed participants to visit a few agricultural businesses in the area last Saturday.

This year’s destinations included Creekside Farms in Greenfield, Peachtree Ranch east of King City and 43 Ranch Olive Oil in San Ardo.

Guests learned about local farming, cattle ranching and olive oil production as well as heard from Mission Ranches’ Lawrence Hinkle, who spoke about food safety.
