KING CITY — The defending MTAL champion King City Mustangs started the wrestling season on a positive note with a 67-12 dual-meet win last Wednesday against the North Monterey County Condors.
King City won six matches by way of fall. Oscar Covarrubias (113) and Sergio Mendoza (126) started of the match with decisions. Winning by pin were Cody Hood (138), Austin Foslien (145), Gustavo Ramirez (160), Luis Quintero (170), Jaime Ibarra (197) and Michael Krehbiel (220).
