Salinas Valley Enterprise Zone as an economic tool for businesses

SOUTH COUNTY – After the four cities' joint meeting on Aug. 28, one thing that was for certain was that the Salinas Valley Enterprise Zone was an underutilized tool, and steps are being taken to address that by hiring a person to attend to South County.

With resources diminishing due to difficult financial times, the enterprise zone, as stated at the joint cities meeting, is one of the benefits businesses should be taking advantage of as a economic tool.
