Mustangs survive Sharks

APTOS - Buddy Sans ran for 143 yards on 18 carries in the King City Mustangs 20-13 win at Cabrillo College over the St. Francis Sharks.

King City erased an early deficit then had to hang on at the end to improve to 1-1 in non-league action. The Mustangs survived a pair of interceptions, missed PAT’s, and a determined Shark team to come out with the victory before their bye week.

“We will use this week and next to improve our execution before we play a really good Monte Vista Christian team,” said King City Head Coach Mac Villanueva.
