KING CITY — A 19-year-old man in King City was able to avoid injury despite two gunmen opening fire on the car he was sitting in and hitting it nine times Thursday night.
According to the King City Police Department, officers responded to a shots-fired call at about 9 p.m. in the 400 block of San Antonio Drive. When they arrived, they found the man who had been sitting in his parked vehicle there when two gunmen walked toward him and opened fire, police said.
The victim was able to duck down and avoid being struck by the bullets. Police said approximately nine rounds struck his car.
