KING CITY — King city became the first South county city to pass a resolution calling for immigration reform, doing so on a 3-1 vote.
Councilman Carlos Victoria spearheaded the effort to get the resolution passed.
“After hearing what people have to say and listening to their stories, what it is they came to this country for and how they’re struggling, I decided, you know what, this is something we really need,” Victoria said.
