Victoria Jeanette Segobia, 46, of Soledad passed away in Newberg, Ore., from complications of a stroke January 18, 2013. Vicky was born June 19, 1966, in King City, and was a resident of Soledad for many years. Five years ago she moved to Sheridan, Ore., to be with her children.
She is survived by daughter Natalie Garcia, son Isaac Segobia, daughter Aurelia Rico, daughter Adriana Rico, mother Nellie Corpuz, stepfather Ray Corpuz, brother John Segobia Jr., sister Veronnica Coverdell, nephew Ray Coverdell, niece Chloey Coverdell, her grandchildren Yesenia Garcia, and Angelina Mendez. She was preceded in death by her father, John Segobia Sr., granddaughter Starla Mendez, niece Lynette Segobia, niece Michelle Coverdell, grandparents Raymond and Eva Ramirez, grandparents Edward and Martha Segobia, grandparent Wenseslao Stanley Corpuz, and her uncle, Adrew Segobia.
She was loved and remembered by her cooking, especially her tortillas. She will always be remembered by all her friends and family from back home. She always found a way to make people laugh, and if you needed help she found a way to help you.
Her service will be held in Soledad at Our Lady of Solitude Catholic Church at noon, Febuary 2, 2013, with reception to follow in Gonzales at Carlitos Steakhouse, 148 Alta St., Gonzales.
