SOLEDAD — Pinnacles National Monument Superintendent Karen Beppler-Dorn received word last Thursday that President Obama signed legislation approving national park status for Pinnacles National Monument.
“This is fantastic,” said Soledad Mayor Fred Ledesma. “This will do so much for our tourism in Soledad and the goals we have for the future.”
The city of Soledad over the last several months has been working on getting an upscale hotel to come to the area.
