One arrested after burglary, 115-mph chase in King City

KING CITY — King City Police Department officers made an arrest in relation to a Dec. 28 burglary after a high-speed chase reached speeds of 115 mph.

An officer attempted to stop a silver Dodge in the 600 block of Bassett Street at 9:04 p.m. Dec. 28 for driving without its headlights on. According to a release from the KCPD, the officer didn’t know at the time that the occupants had just burglarized a residence in the same block.
