Beloved son and brother, Dennis Silvio Ramelli, 59, of Campbell, passed away in the arms of his parents and immediate family on Saturday, December 22, 2012, after a brief illness.
Dennis was born on March 3, 1953, in Salinas to Franco and Odilia Ramelli of Soledad. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Gonzales Union High School, Hartnell College and the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He worked in the family business, Soledad Bakery, until its closing in 1993. He then moved to the south Bay Area, where he lived and worked for the past almost 20 years. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Frankie, in 1980.
Survivors: His parents, Franco and Odilia Ramelli, of Soledad; sisters, Lisetta, Adriana (Dave) Heywood, Yvonne (Steve) Vosti, Diane (Jim) McConnell; six beloved nieces and nephews, Daniela, Lia and Gina Vosti, Kelly, Nicky and Casey McConnell. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Switzerland.
He was greatly loved and will be very missed by his family.
A funeral Mass took place on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Our Lady of Solitude Catholic Church in Soledad. Private interment was to follow at a later date.
