Ruth Suniga

Ruth (Cuca) Marquez Suniga, 89, longtime resident of Greenfield, passed away on January 4, 2013. She was born on July 4, 1923 in Brawley.

She is survived by her children, Johnny (Isabel) Ginez of Delano, Guadalupe (Mary) Suniga of Gonzales, Linda (Ernie) Gallardo of Greenfield, Virginia (Doug) Wolf of Wyoming, Michael (Francis) Suniga of Greenfield; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor R. Suniga; her mother, Maria Marquez; her children, Dora Pajas, Richard Suniga, Marcos Suniga, Elizabeth Suniga; and two granddaughters.  

A visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Whitehurst-Grim Funeral Service.

Rosary will be Wednesday, January 9, at 7 p.m. at Whitehurst-Grim Funeral Service.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 7, at Holy Trinity Church in Greenfield.
