Boxing Corner: Morales to fight Beranza on Jan. 25

SAN ARDO — Pro boxing manager Rick Steve announced that the next opponent for pro boxer Roman Morales will be Jose Angel Beranza.

Morales’ next pro bout will be pro fight No. 14 and take place at the Chumash Casino and Resort in Santa Ynez, which has already announced on its website that there will be a Jan. 25 boxing card with a very high level of pro boxers set to go. It is anticipated that this will be a Showtime nationally televised card, but we do not have confirmation of television coverage at this press time. Stay tuned.
