Marching Spartans begin season with Berkeley performance

BERKELEY - Gonzales High School Music Director Brian Parker had the opportunity to take the Marching Spartans out to UC Berkeley on Sept. 8, to preform at halftime at the Cal Berkeley college football game.

They got to play in front of a full stadium along with other marching bands from different areas, and along with the Cal Berkeley Marching Band itself. It was quite the experience for them. They also got a tour of the college campus and were invited to watch the football game.
