Amy Lou Schmidt Hall, 84, of Stonewall, Okla., died on June 27.
She was born March 9, 1929 to Timothy Nessen Schmidt and Mary Angeline Zoellin Schmidt. She graduated from King City High School and was in the community until 1959. She later married Auddie Russell Hall.
She was employed as a homemaker and bookkeeper for Hallís Dairy and Hallís Auto Supply.
Amy is survived by children, Dr. Rod Hall and his wife, Dr. Catherine Hall, of Norman, Okla., Ron Hall and his wife Janice of Stonewall, Marietta Carter and her husband Marvin of Ada, Okla., Julie Scott and her husband David of Stonewall, and Tim Hall and his wife Paula of Stonewall; grandchildren, Mandy Waters and Matt Carter of Ada, Joe Hall of Amarillo, Texas, Lindsay Rodkey of Bloomington, Indiana, Mark Hall of Las Vegas, Adam Hall and Megan Carter of Ada, Greg Scott of Edinburgh, Scotland, Rachel Melton of Stonewall, and Bryan Scott of Ada; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jeff Schmidt and wife Jean of Bitterwater, Calif., and Bob Schmidt of Hollister.
She was preceded in death by husband Auddie and relatives Claire Schmidt, Lloyd Schmidt, Charlie Schmidt, Joe Schmidt, Jack Schmidt, Alyce Bengard, Grace Bray, Faye Franscioni, and Margaret Carroll.
A funeral was held July 15 at First Baptist church in Stonewall, and burial took place at Wilson Cemetery near Clarita, Okla. In lieu if flowers, memorial donations can be made to Stonewall-McLish Education Foundation (checks payable to SMEF), PO Box 25, Stonewall, OK 74871.
