King City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture celebrates El Grito with event

KING CITY - The King City Chamber of Commerce put together their annual El Grito event kicking off with a parade ending at this year’s venue location of Town Square.

“We sponsored the event,” said Chairperson for the event and Chamber member Olga Peters. “I think it went very well.”

This event has been sponsored by the Chamber the last few years to commemorate the battle cry against the Spanish authorities in Mexico’s History. El Grito marks the commencement of Mexican Independence Day.
