KING CITY — The King City Police conducted a flyer sweep Jan. 17 in an effort to obtain more information regarding the drive-by shooting which occurred the night of Jan. 10, killing 18-year-old Armando Daniel Ortiz.
At approximately 6:30pm, the King City Police Department, working in cooperation with the local town watch, began handing out flyers at the intersection of Willow Street and San Antonio Drive. One police officer stood watch on the corner of the intersection, while two members of the town watch passed out flyers to vehicles as they stopped at the posted stop signs.
