Hartnell hosts forum-King City candidates speak to political science students

King City Council Candidates from Districts 3, 4 and 5 visited Hartnell College Thursday to talk to political science students about why they are running for City Council and what they hope to bring if elected.
The candidates, Carlos De Leon Abraham Aguayo, Carlos Victoria, Robert Cullen and Gabriel Trujillo answered six questions posed by political science students.

Man shot multiple times

KING CITY- A 42-year-old male was rushed to the hospital Friday night after he was shot multiple times.
King City Police officers responded to a call of shots fired on King and Sycamore streets. The victim was taken to a trauma center, where he was listed in critical condition.

KING CITY-Latino residents honored their heritage Sunday during the El Grito parade and celebration ceremony at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds.

KING CITY, The Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture Business Expo attracted more than 20 businesses on Sept 15 in hopes of recruiting employees and promoting their services.
Participants also sampled wine from the Monterey County Wine Competition.
