Fort Hunter Liggett celebrates 75th anniversary

KING CITY -- The 75th anniversary of U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hunter Liggett will be celebrated with three special events.

King City appoints Interim Captain

Darius Engles, a retired Chief of Police from Pacific Grove, has been selected to be an Interim Police Captain for King City Police Department.
Darius Engles was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula. He is a graduate from CSU, Sacramento with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice and a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
