Gang Task force moving forward-Community group to formulate plan to address youth violence

KING CITY-The City of King City Council is moving forward with a Gang Task Force and is bringing on community members to help with the project.

Hot temps could be leading to uptick in violent crime

King City-In the past two weeks there have been four shootings resulting in injuries and a fatality. King City Police Chief Robert Masterson says that the King City Police Department was expecting an increase in violent crime as the temperatures rises.

Council ok's ballot argument for medical marijuana

King City-In a five to zero vote on Tuesday, Aug. 9, the City Council of King City agreed to put a ballot measure on the November ballot to tax medical marijuana and non-medical marijuana cultivation, nurseries, manufacturing and testing annually.
The measure was originally approved at the last City Council meeting but new regulations have seen been put into effect
